This programme will be useful for Assessors, Moderators and Facilitators of learning programme, Learner and Learning supporters and Skills Development Facilitators who are building towards the full qualification.
It is assumed that learners are already competent in general analysis and design techniques, have a working knowledge of outcome-based education and training. It is also assumed that learners are able to analyse and interpret the relevant outcomes (or standards) and are able to develop learning materials based on a given design. They should be able to communicate in writing at NQF level 4 and should have already achieved unit standard NLRD 115753: Conduct outcomes-based assessment, or equivalent. They should be competent in the relevant field in which they are designing assessments, or have access to subject matter experts.
